Glenmount

Our Coventry location is a men’s Level 3 house that is staffed 24/7 and features 44 beds. The location is 11 units and an office, with 4 residents per unit. It has a garage area with basic work-out equipment, a yard with simple seating, and is located in a safe area.



High St

Our High St location is a women’s Level 3 house that is staffed 24/7 and features 12 beds. A two story loft, the 12 beds are spread over 5 rooms with 2 full kitchens, 2 large living room/community areas, and is located in Downtown Akron.



Perkins

Our Perkins location is a men’s Level 2 house that is peer-led with a resident house manager that lives on location at all times. At full capacity, it houses 6 residents, with plenty of open floor space and no neighbors.



18th St

Located in Kenmore, our 18th St location houses 5 with a fenced in backyard. It’s a level 2 house for men that’s in a quiet neighborhood and situated in an area that makes it 10 minutes from the most popular Akron areas in any direction.



12th St

Also located in Kenmore, this location houses 9 with a nice and private backyard in a quiet neighborhood and has easy access to the local bus routes.



Raasch

Right outside of Downtown Akron, this location houses 5 with a nice big front porch and it’s on a small street which creates a quiet neighborhood environment.



Long St

Just outside of Downtown Akron and close to I-76, this location was our first female level 2 house. It holds 5 women and the property is located in a safe and quiet area of Akron that comes with the best front porch of any of our properties.



27th St

Our final property in Kenmore, this property is a Level 2 women’s house that houses 5. Hidden away with few neighbors, it’s a quiet area on a small property with plenty of privacy.

About Hilltop Recovery Homes

Hilltop Recovery Homes is dedicated to providing safe and affordable recovery housing to all those seeking help with substance use disorder. We offer two levels of housing, Levels 2 and 3 per Ohio Recovery Housing guidelines, where our residents can enter into a supportive environment that is staffed 24/7/365, and gradually progress to a peer-led level of housing with less staff oversight. Hilltop is a merit-based program where the individual’s commitment to the recovery process serves as the guiding force behind placement at different levels of housing.

At Hilltop, we believe that the most important factor is a desire to engage in the recovery process. We understand that our residents often come to us with criminal backgrounds, poor employment history, and plenty of issues that have been unaddressed for far too long. The solution should be simple: stay sober and manage your agreements, and let the promises of recovery come true. We require engagement in treatment services from the beginning and following the treatment plan outlined by a resident’s provider of choice. We will handle transportation to and from treatment services and make sure that every one of our resident’s basic needs are met. Our staff will work with residents to teach them the skills necessary to begin addressing these issues in earnest. We are not treatment-focused and we offer ZERO clinical services on our properties. We simply maintain strong relationships with local treatment providers and hold our residents accountable for engagement.
